Be | Shaping the Future UK is a specialist management consultancy focused exclusively on Financial Services. We help clients deliver transformational change across Banking, Asset Management, Payments, and Insurance.
Our Finance Segment works with CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior finance leaders to solve complex business challenges, design future-state operating models, and deliver large-scale finance transformation programmes. Our work spans Finance Transformation, CFO Advisory, Finance Target Operating Models, Finance Technology, FP&A Transformation, Data & Reporting, and Change Delivery.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Management Consultant to join our growing CFO advisory and Finance change segment. This role is suited to a management consultant with a strong track record of delivering finance transformation within Financial Services organisations. You will bring a combination of consulting capability, finance expertise, and change delivery experience, helping clients transform their finance functions and improve the way they plan, manage, and utilise financial information.
We are specifically looking for individuals who have consulting experience alongside financial services knowledge. Candidates with a banking background are welcome, but must also have experience operating within a consulting environment and leading client-facing transformation engagements.
What You'll Do
As a Consultant within our Finance Segment, you will:
- Lead the delivery of finance transformation engagements for Financial Services clients.
- Work with CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior stakeholders to design and implement change.
- Manage workstreams and multidisciplinary teams across complex transformation programmes.
- Lead workshops, stakeholder engagement, and transformation design activities.
- Deliver finance operating model, process improvement, and organisational design initiatives.
- Support FP&A transformation, performance management, and finance business partnering enhancements.
- Contribute to finance technology and data-enabled transformation programmes.
- Coach and develop consultants, supporting their professional growth and career development.
- Support business development activities, proposition development, and thought leadership initiatives.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- 5-8 years' experience in management consulting in Financial Services.
- Proven experience delivering Finance Transformation programmes.
- Strong experience working on FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) transformation initiatives.
- Experience designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models (TOMs).
- Demonstrable consulting experience, including stakeholder management, project delivery, and client advisory.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs and Finance Directors.
- Strong programme, project, and change management capability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Qualifications

- Qualified accountant with one of the following:
- ACA
- CIMA
- ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
Preferred Experience
- Experience across a number of the following areas:
- Finance operating model transformation
- FP&A and business partnering transformation
- Finance process optimisation
- Management reporting and performance management
- ERP and Finance Technology implementations
- Finance data, reporting, and analytics
- Cost and profitability transformation
- Shared Services, offshore, and nearshore operating models
- Enterprise performance management platforms such as Oracle EPM, Anaplan, or similar solutions
- Asset Management, Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance sectors
