The Role
Capco is seeking a visionary Data Analytics Lead at Managing Principal level to spearhead the strategy and growth of our award-winning Data Practice. You'll lead a team of multidisciplinary practitioners delivering high-impact analytics, AI and data science programmes across the Financial Services sector. This leadership role combines business development, client engagement, capability growth and proposition innovation while championing AI-enabled ways of working that improve client outcomes, accelerate delivery and foster responsible AI adoption across the practice.
What You'll Do
- Shape and drive the growth of Capco's UK Data Practice, contributing to global data initiatives and identifying opportunities to embed AI-enabled capabilities into client solutions and internal ways of working.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, proposals and market-leading data and AI propositions, helping clients realise measurable business value through modern data capabilities.
- Lead executive client relationships, facilitate strategic data and AI discussions, and represent Capco at industry events, sharing insights on emerging technologies, responsible AI and the future of data-driven organisations.
- Inspire, mentor and grow a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering an inclusive culture of innovation, continuous learning and effective adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation.
- Oversee the successful delivery of complex data, analytics and AI programmes, ensuring solutions are commercially impactful, scalable and aligned with governance, regulatory expectations and responsible AI principles.

What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of consulting experience, currently operating at Senior Management, Director or Managing Principal level, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programmes.
- Demonstrated success in building senior client relationships, developing strategic partnerships and securing data- and AI-related business opportunities.
- Deep expertise across enterprise data domains, including data strategy, governance, privacy, analytics and AI transformation.
- Strong understanding of data science, AI, Generative AI, MLOps, business intelligence, responsible AI, AI governance and modern analytics operating models, with the ability to translate emerging technologies into business value.
- Proven experience leading complex data transformation initiatives within Financial Services while enabling multidisciplinary teams to adopt AI-enabled ways of working with appropriate human oversight and governance.

- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple client engagements, with a focus on collaboration, innovation and delivery excellence.
- Strong background in programme leadership, organisational change and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with recognised industry frameworks, cloud data platforms, AI governance standards and enterprise data management practices.
- Contributions to thought leadership, proposition development or innovation across data, analytics and AI.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing and coaching high-performing consulting teams while fostering a culture of continuous learning and responsible innovation.
