Management Consultant – Operations & Supply Chain (Warehouse Automation)

One of Europe’s leading independent, partner led technology services and business consulting organisation and a highly regarded strategic partner for our clients is looking for a consultant with strong experience in warehouse automation, intralogistics, and solution design to join our Supply Chain & Operations team. This role is focused on helping clients design, assess, and implement automated warehouse and distribution solutions, rather than day-to-day warehouse operations management.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading workstreams and projects from concept and business case through to solution design and implementation support, working closely with technology vendors, systems integrators, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery & Solution Design

  • Lead and deliver consulting engagements focused on warehouse automation, intralogistics, and distribution network optimization
  • Design end-to-end warehouse solutions, covering processes, layout, automation technologies, systems, and operating model
  • Assess and compare automation options (e.g. AS/RS, AMRs, robotics, conveyors, sortation, goods-to-person solutions)
  • Develop future-state blueprints, including functional requirements, high-level technical architecture, and roadmap
  • Build business cases and ROI models for automation investments
  • Support clients through vendor selection, RFPs, and evaluation of technology partners
  • Provide oversight and assurance during implementation phases, working alongside integrators and internal teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
