Management Consulting Manager – Software & Platforms – B2B Software

Manager, Software & Platforms Industry & Enterprise

Within our Software & Platforms Industry & Enterprise team, we work with software and SaaS businesses—from high-growth scale-ups to global vendors—helping them navigate critical challenges in a rapidly shifting industry.

About the Role

Our clients face transformative pressures:

  • AI-native competitors redefining competitive advantage
  • Shifting from subscription to consumption and outcome-based pricing
  • Hyperscalers altering distribution models
  • B2B buyers demanding measurable workflow outcomes, not just features

We help them through GTM redesign, lead-to-cash transformation, commercial model evolution, and broad B2B operational change, with a focus on B2B growth, product reinvention, customer lifecycle transformation, and revenue ops.

As Manager, Software & Platforms, you will:

  • Lead high-impact transformation programmes for software and SaaS clients, spanning GTM strategy, commercial models, lead-to-cash redesign, and operational change
  • Define solutions in uncertain environments, turning ambiguity into strategic clarity
  • Develop board-ready commercial narratives, including business cases, value models, and investment pitches
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to co-create strategies, align priorities, and drive cross-functional change
  • Translate industry insights (AI, pricing trends, competitive shifts) into actionable client strategies
  • Drive business development, shape proposals, and build relationships for new client engagements
  • Lead and develop your team, fostering high performance and an inclusive culture
  • Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, capability development, and internal strategy evolution

Key Responsibilities

Solution Ownership & Execution

  • Oversee complex B2B transformation programmes, from GTM strategy to operational execution
  • Design future-state processes, customer journeys, and transformation roadmaps, ensuring executable change

Commercial & Strategic Advisory

  • Build evidence-based business cases, value models, and investment frameworks for C-level scrutiny
  • Advise on pricing and commercial model evolution (e.g., usage-based, outcome-driven models)
  • Assess hyperscaler and ecosystem dynamics to reframe distribution and competitive positioning

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
