Are you currently studying an undergraduate degree and looking for an industry placement year from September 2026? At SIXT, your future starts here. Join us for a 12-month Management Placement, where you’ll rotate across different roles and gain hands-on experience in our fast-paced, premium mobility business.

As a Placement Student, you’ll get stuck into real responsibilities from day one - supporting customers at the front desk, learning the ropes of fleet operations, and even shadowing supervisors to build your leadership skills. You’ll also take part in structured training, work on live projects, and gain valuable exposure to people and culture processes. This is more than just work experience - it’s your first step toward a successful career in leadership at SIXT, with the possibility of a conditional, fast-track offer onto our Management Trainee Programme upon successful completion of your undergraduate degree.

Your Role at SIXT

  • Fleet Service Agent Rotation: You will get hands-on with vehicle logistics, safety checks, and branch operations to understand how fleet forms the foundation of an exceptional customer experience.
  • Rental Sales Agent Rotation: You will build your customer service and sales skills by supporting front-line rental operations and learning how service excellence drives business success.
  • Supervisor Rotation: You will shadow the Management Team, support team coordination, and take part in People & Culture training to begin developing your management skills.
  • Project & Development Rotation: During the final rotation of the placement, you will put your learning into action through a real-world business project.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
