We are looking for a Management Systems and Audit Manager to join our Quality & Mission Assurance team. In this influential leadership role, you will help shape and strengthen the governance, compliance and assurance framework that underpins our business operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring continued compliance with internationally recognised standards including ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001. You will also play a key role in supporting the achievement of future certifications aligned to business strategy.
Alongside management systems leadership, you will oversee a risk-based audit programme, delivering meaningful assurance activities that drive continuous improvement, support operational excellence and contribute to Northrop Grumman UK's mission of delivering critical capabilities across defence, cyber, engineering and mission systems.

What you'll be doing
As Management Systems and Audit Manager, you will:
- Lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Northrop Grumman UK's Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Manage the organisation's external ISO certification portfolio and support the attainment of new certifications that enable strategic growth.
- Develop and oversee a three-year risk-based audit programme covering internal processes, programmes, suppliers, customers and external assurance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with process owners and business functions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and compliance.
- Lead and develop the Management Systems and Audit team, providing coaching, support and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide meaningful reporting to senior stakeholders.

What we’re looking for
We're interested in hearing from people who can demonstrate:
Essential
- Proven experience managing and improving integrated management systems within a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of management system standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience creating, managing and delivering risk-based audit programmes.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable
- Auditor qualification and/or working knowledge of one or more of the following standards: ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 44001, ISO 31001 or ISO 22301.
- Experience working within defence, security, engineering, technology or other highly regulated sectors.
- Experience using SharePoint and digital management systems.
