What You’ll Gain
A Management Career Built from the Ground Up
Throughout your 12-month program, you’ll:
- Take on real responsibility early, supporting operational goals and team success.
- Develop expertise in key business areas such as:
- Sales
- Customer Service
- Fleet Management
- Performance Management
- Operate in the day-to-day business as a Sales Executive, including training in:
- Communication
- Conflict resolution
- Sales strategies
- Problem-solving
- Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors, learning leadership on the job.
- Graduate into a leadership position tailored to your potential and business needs.
Note: Relocation across the UK may be required to secure your leadership post.

As a future leader with SIXT, you’ll bring:
- A Growth Mindset – Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related fields, or relevant professional experience in:
- Sales
- Customer Service
- Tourism/Hospitality
- Management
- Leading From Day One – Show entrepreneurial drive, initiative, and a hands-on, proactive attitude. You’re the type who leads without waiting for instruction, not passive – you take charge.
- Exceptional Communication – Fluency in English is essential (additional languages are a plus).
- Problem-Solving & Independence – Work thoughtfully, own your decisions, and deliver under pressure.
- Agile Adaptability – Willing to relocate throughout the UK during the program (as part of rotations) and be open to branch relocations upon graduation.
- Mobility Preparation – Hold a full UK/EU driver’s licence, have at least 1 year of driving experience, and be under 6 points penalty.
Behind the Wheel: Core Mobility Requirements
All trainees must: ✔ Hold a valid driver’s licence ✔ Have 1+ years of driving history ✔ Maintain ≤6 penalty points on licence

- A promotion to leadership is offered upon programme success—but it requires agility:
- Be willing to relocate anywhere in the UK for your leadership posting.
