About the Role

1ST GEAR! is our 12-month global Management Trainee Program, designed to fast-track your entry into a leadership role within one of the world’s most innovative mobility companies. From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience, take on operational responsibility, and acquire skills to excel as a leader in Branches & Operations.

Key Outcomes of the Program

  • Early responsibility: Contribute to operational goals and team efficiency from your first day.
  • Multi-disciplinary exposure: Gain insights into Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management.
  • Leadership on the job: Work closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to develop real-world leadership skills.
  • Ongoing support: Receive structured training in communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving.
  • Guaranteed leadership transition: Upon successful completion, graduate into a leadership position within UK-based operations.

Ready to build your leadership future? Relocation anywhere within the United Kingdom is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

Core Program Activities

Ensure you’re ready to take on diverse challenges across Branches & Operations while driving efficiency and growth:

  • Actively participate in daily operational tasks,责任 Sales Executive role to understand entire branch operations.
  • Develop skills in Relationship Management, Budgeting, Performance Analytics, and Cross-functional Collaboration.
  • Rotate across multiple locations to broaden exposure and adaptability.
  • Align your efforts with SIXT’s customer-centric values, ensuring seamless experiences for our 5 million annual users.

Requirements

We’re looking for ambitious, proactive individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments. Your profile should include:

  • Academic Background

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Management, Economics, Tourism) or
    • Professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality, or Management.
  • Mindset & Attitude

    • Growth Mindset: A commitment to continuous development.
    • Entrepreneurial Leadership: Not afraid to take initiative without waiting for instructions.
    • Problem-Solving Agility: Proactively identify and resolve challenges.
    • Proactive Ownership: Work independently while ensuring ownership of tasks.
  • Communication Skills

    • Exceptional English proficiency (fluent written and verbal).
    • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Mobility & Practical Eligibility

    • Valid driver’s license + at least 1 year of driving experience.
    • Clean driving record (maximum 6 penalty points or fewer based on local regulations).

  • Relocation Readiness
    • Willingness to relocate anywhere within the UK to commence your leadership role upon programme completion.
    • Must attend an Assessment Centre on Tuesday 25th August and commence the program on Monday 5th October.
