- Coordinate with internal partners to identify & execute opportunities
- Engage in business development activities alongside the sales organization to broaden client base and drive depth and breadth of relationships.
- Support the implementation of the product and go-to-market strategy for the Advisory & Placements business with a specific focus on EMEA.
- Directly manage 1-2 Associates on the team
Additional Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in managing and scaling EMEA revenue – driving long term growth across the product line. This will involve building a robust/sustainable business model that meets the needs of our PE clients and their portfolio companies.
- Develop a targeted strategy to recruit senior executives into the GLG network to continuously improve the pool of talent available for Placements.
- Help uphold and drive continuous improvement in relation to internal workflows and GLG’s Board Placement Search process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
