Senior Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

Role Overview
Collins with the Product Definition & Marketing team to develop cutting-edge specifications that establish a competitive advantage in the Integrated Circuit (IC) market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify system architectures to ensure optimal performance, power efficiency, and reduced die size
- Define technical requirements for core IP blocks integrated into the product
- Collaborate with program managers to establish and scale a development timeline for design, verification, and layout
- Develop detailed analog and mixed-signal IC verification plans covering all aspects of design validation
- Set and maintain high-quality design standards across the product lifecycle:
- Establish thorough peer review processes
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Interface consistently with:
- Test development teams
- Product engineers to optimize final product functionality
- Bench evaluation specialists for silo-to-final validation
- Quality assurance partners
- Mentor team members to grow their technical skills and professional potential

Qualifications
Technical Experience
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent work experience) with 15+ years of direct industry experience in:
- Full fabrication and custom analog design cycle:
- Precision signal conditioning
- Power management circuits
- High-voltage applications (:)variant CMOS processes تجدِ
- Full fabrication and custom analog design cycle:
- Ability to conceptualize system-level architectures, trade-offs, and optimization while managing technical gate specifics
- Deep expertise in circuit modeling, using industry-standard tools for analog circuit simulation (AMS)
- Comfortable working across the full scope of IC development beyond analog:
- Familiarity with:
- Digital design flows
- Packaging considerations
- Testability requirements
- Quality assurance testing protocols
- Product engineering nuances
- Familiarity with:
Non-Technical Skills
- Exceptional system thinking — balancing big-picture goals while preserving granular attention to engineering minutiae
- Outstanding communication and conflict-resolution capabilities, especially in global environments with multiple time zones
- Leadership focus on developing high-performing technical teams
