About the Role

Title: Senior Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Architect

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Specifications:
    • Work closely with product definition and marketing teams to develop a distinctive IC product specification tailored for compelling market advantages.
    • Align design decisions with consumer and technical requirements to ensure the product stands out in the competitive IC landscape.

  • System Architecture:

    • Design the system architecture to balance performance, power efficiency, and compact die size.
    • Specify requirements for individual IPs (intellectual property) within the product, ensuring they interoperate effectively.
  • Project & Technical Leadership:

    • Collaborate with the project manager to establish a comprehensive development plan, covering design, verification, and layout.
    • Develop a rigorous analog and mixed-signal verification plan for high-quality results.
    • Ensure adherence to best practices through peer reviews, meticulous documentation, and documentation.
    • Lead product development from inception to launch with direction and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork:

    • Partner with cross-functional teams covering test development, product engineering, bench evaluation, and quality assurance.
  • Mentorship & Development:

    • Mentor and uplift junior developers and engineers, fostering growth in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

Education & Expertise

  • Degree: Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent specialization).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in the semiconductor industry, with 5+ years in analog and mixed-signal IC design preferred.
  • Profound expertise in analog and mixed-signal design, advanced precision analog circuits, power management (BCD processes), and high-voltage analog design.
  • Depth of understanding behind IP development and modeling, AMS simulations to enhance accuracy.

Collaboration & Business Acumen

  • Strong communication to work effectively across geographical and cultural boundaries.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in collaborative environments.
  • Ability to navigate technical challenges while translating complex information for stakeholders across diverse teams: digital design, packaging, testing, and quality assurance.
