Job Title: Remarketing Manager Apprentice/ Manager Apprentice – Operations
Salary: £33,000 + company car
Location: Regional role (one position per region) South East, South West, Midlands, North and Scotland
As this is a regional role, flexibility to travel regularly across multiple sites is essential.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday with some weekend working included on a rota basis
Job Status: Fixed term contract with a pathway towards a permanent management role within the Operational divisions (Remarketing)

About the Programme
The Operations Leadership Academy has been designed to develop future leaders across our Vehicle Remarketing Centres. Over a two-year period, you'll gain practical experience across key operational areas including:
- Aftersales
- Production
- Value Enhancement
- Yard Logistics
Alongside your operational rotations, you'll complete a Level 4 relevant Operational/Project Management qualification, receive mentoring from experienced leaders and gain valuable exposure to the wider business.
By the end of the programme, you'll have developed the skills, experience and leadership capability needed to progress into a management role.
What You'll Be Doing
Operational Development
- Rotate through Aftersales, Production, Value Enhancement and Yard operations to gain hands-on experience.
- Support daily site activities whilst maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance performance and customer service.
- Support managers with operational planning, resource allocation and workflow management.

People & Leadership Development
- Develop leadership skills including communication, coaching and team engagement.
- Build strong relationships across multiple sites and teams.
- Support managers in resolving operational challenges and driving performance.
Learning & Qualification
- Successfully complete the Level 4 Operational/Project Management qualification.
- Apply learning directly into operational environments.
- Participate in structured training, mentoring and performance review activities.
Regional Experience
- Work across different sites and departments to broaden your operational knowledge.
- Adapt quickly to different teams, challenges and working environments.
- The role will be based from a suitable Auction Centre on the region, whilst providing regional support when needed.
Future Career Progression
- Demonstrate readiness for a management position by the end of the programme.
- Take ownership of your personal and professional development.
- Build the skills and confidence required to become a future leader within UK Remarketing.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- A strong interest in operational leadership and people management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn.
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing competing priorities.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership and accountability.
- Ability to build positive relationships and credibility with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A customer-focused mindset.
- Full UK driving licence.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Grade 4/C or above.

Desirable
- Previous experience in an operational, logistics, automotive or production environment.
- Exposure to team leadership, coordination or supervisory responsibilities.
Programme Structure
- Duration: 24 Months
- Qualification: Level 4 Operational/Project Management
- Rotations Include: Aftersales, Production, Yard Operations, Value Enhancement
- Additional business placements across BCA Central Support Functions
Outcome: Although we cannot guarantee a permanent role at the end of the programme, there will be opportunities to secure a permanent role within BCA upon successful completion of the programme.
