What You’ll Do
As a Manager – BCG Vantage on the Topic Activation path within BCG’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Area, you’ll:
- Partner with a growing global team to provide industry expertise and insights on data centers, AI infrastructure, semiconductors, cooling, power, and supply chain economics.
- Work with case and proposal teams to:
- Develop knowledge assets and analytical frameworks.
- Offer expert advisory and thought leadership on complex client challenges.
- Structure and solve problems in AI, compute, and infrastructure systems.
- Drive intellectual property (IP) and knowledge assets to support commercialization efforts, including:
- AI economics/tokenomics and full AI infrastructure stack tools.
- Collaboration with business leaders on proposals and go-to-market strategies.
- May line-manage junior colleagues, taking ownership of:
- Goal setting and performance management.
- Ongoing feedback and career development support.

Key Focus Areas
- Advancing BCG’s understanding of the physical backbone of AI (facilities, hardware, power, supply chains).
- Ensuring insights are delivered to project teams and clients shaping the future of data centers and AI.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
- Solving complex client problems using relevant analytical approaches across the data center and AI infrastructure stack.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge assets, including:
- Tools/analysis on AI economics/tokenomics.
- Materials covering the AI infrastructure stack tailored to client needs.
- Engaging senior stakeholders—clearly articulating insights to global audiences.
- Project portfolio management with clarity on business priorities and commercial impact.
- Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
- Navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, evolving environments.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of consulting experience in data centers, semiconductors, or related hardware (preferred) or 4+ years of industry experience (6–10+ years strongly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus).
- Expertise in critical topics, such as:
- AI hardware, data center facilities, supply chain/procurement, operations, or infrastructure investment.
- Fluency in English; multilingual skills (helpful but not required).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with internal/external stakeholders in a global team setting.
