The Manager, Client Events will also manage direct reports.

With a flexible approach and exceptional multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, the role requires meticulous attention to detail to deliver an outstanding standard of service to both internal and external clients.

This role leads the internal and external logistics, details, implementation, and execution of events in line with relevant budgets, while driving event-related operational goals. It involves post-event analysis and ROI tracking, as well as developing systems and processes to improve event data management.

Key Responsibilities

Event Production

  • Define event objectives and create both short and long-term action plans in collaboration with the team.
  • Manage costs to ensure events are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable success and ROI.
  • Establish and enforce event protocols aligned with global best practices, ensuring exceptional delivery, service, and attention to detail across all events.
  • Monitor progress to guarantee that checkpoints and objectives are consistently met.

  • Oversee the design and production of event-related materials, including invitations, signage, branded swag, promotional items, and client gifts.
  • Attend events in-person to manage on-site logistics, including on-site hospitality, production, audio-visual support, and transportation.
  • Develop branded event setups and sponsorship plans, including booth logistics, set-up and de-rig, visibility strategies, and promotions.
  • Foster CLE (Continuing Legal Education) and industry accreditation knowledge for seminars and webinars.
  • Sustain calm, confident, and decisive problem-solving under pressure, both for planned and unplanned situations.
  • Undertake additional ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by the Associate Director, Global Events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
