The Opportunity

We are looking for corporate lawyers interested in joining a Tier 1-accredited corporate law team in the UK, based in Belfast. This is a fast-growing business with a varied and dynamic range of work, a strong international dimension, and acting for some of the largest household-name groups in the world.

To qualify for the role, the following requirements apply:

  • English law-qualified corporate solicitor with circa 2–8 years’ PQE experience, with some of the time gained in the UK within a private practice law firm
  • Strong technical, research, and drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • A genuine passion for problem-solving for clients and working in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside both lawyers and non-lawyers daily
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Proficiency in UK company law, particularly with:
    • Share capital and distributions
    • Governance matters
    • Fiduciary duties
    • Intra-group transactions
    • Legal entity rationalisations
  • Knowledge of or interest in deal-related structuring, such as company law issues in:
    • Carve-outs
    • Post-deal integration
  • Strong experience in coordinating international legal advice across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience conducting and coordinating due diligence projects, including globally
  • Exceptional time management with the ability to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines
  • An innovative mindset, supporting the use of technology to enhance service delivery
  • Ability to build strong peer business relationships
  • Enthusiastic team player with a collaborative spirit
  • Creative and pragmatic problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong commercial awareness to understand the broader implications of legal advice
