Location: London, United Kingdom - Hybrid (50% working at the office)

The job
The Corporate Strategy & Planning team plays a central role in shaping AVEVA’s long-term direction and growth. As a Manager, Corporate Strategy & Planning, you will support the development and execution of enterprise strategy and long-range plans, working closely with senior leaders across the business.
This is a hands-on, analytical role in a lean, collaborative team, offering exposure to executive decision-making and the opportunity to work at the intersection of industrial software, technology, and strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Support enterprise strategy and long-range planning through structured analysis, scenario evaluation, and executive-ready materials
- Conduct financial, quantitative, and qualitative analyses to assess performance, portfolio choices, and strategic trade-offs
- Analyze market, competitive, and industry trends across industrial software, engineering workflows, and asset-centric operations
- Partner with Product, R&D, Sales, Finance, and GTM teams to inform strategic direction across the Design–Build–Operate–Optimize lifecycle
- Contribute to selective strategic initiatives, including growth priorities, portfolio reviews, and transformation efforts
Essential requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in strategy, corporate planning, consulting, or technical roles with strong analytical components
- Background or strong exposure to engineering, industrial software, industrial automation, or related technical domains
- Strong hands-on analytical capability, including financial modeling and structured problem solving
- Ability to synthesize complex technical and commercial inputs into clear, actionable insights
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

Hybrid working
We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote. The working arrangement for this position will be confirmed during the hiring process.
