About the Role
JumpCloud is seeking a Sales Manager to manage our Direct Sales SMB/Commercial team through the next phase of growth. You’ll:
- Lead a talented team of sales professionals
- Oversee all day-to-day sales operations
- Build an environment that motivates the team to deliver high performance
The JumpCloud Direct Sales team is a critical unit focused on driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Sales.
What You’ll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
- Manage an 8–10 person sales team (BD and AE reps) specialising in SMB/Commercial (10–2,000 employees).
- Exceed new logo and revenue targets (annual recurring revenue ARR).
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent aligned with JumpCloud’s sales model and culture.
- Leverage sales technology ( Salesforce (SFDC), Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach ) to drive process consistency and pipeline conversion.
- Monthly/quarterly forecasting to assess team performance.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to onboard AEs and foster talent growth.
- Set KPIs and structured sales processes via coaching and accountability.
- Cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and improve workflows.
- Remove obstacles to efficiency and adapt systems to support team performance.
- Contribute to quarterly sales objectives with leadership.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven leadership balancing empathy and accountability with a sense of urgency.
- Sales coaching experience in a full-cycle sales environment.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and strategic alignment skills.
- Critical thinking to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Positive, proactive mindset to tackle challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years managing quota-carrying teams at a SaaS organisation (or equivalent).
- Enterprise sales experience (MEDDICC/MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale methodologies).
- SME sales background (IT decision-makers) in triggering sales cycles.
- Up-to-date reporting & feedback analysis with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Gong).
- Startup experience in fast-moving environments.
- Team motivator with mentorship skills during high-growth phases.

- Role is remote (based in England only).
