Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Direct Tax Manager to join its Finance team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to take ownership of a broad range of UK and international direct tax matters, supporting both the organisation and the wider insurance market while working on technical projects, compliance, and advisory activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations and returns.
- Provide technical input on direct tax matters, including transfer pricing.
- Lead technical tax analysis and support business projects.
- Advise internal stakeholders and overseas offices on direct tax issues.
- Support tax compliance across UK and international operations.
- Manage tax risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Act as the subject matter expert for direct tax across the business.

Candidate Profile

- ACA, CTA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified.
- Strong UK corporation tax compliance and reporting experience.
- Knowledge of UK and international direct tax legislation.
- Experience within insurance or financial services is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and able to manage multiple priorities.
