Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Direct Tax Manager to join its Finance team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to take ownership of a broad range of UK and international direct tax matters, supporting both the organisation and the wider insurance market while working on technical projects, compliance, and advisory activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations and returns.
  • Provide technical input on direct tax matters, including transfer pricing.
  • Lead technical tax analysis and support business projects.
  • Advise internal stakeholders and overseas offices on direct tax issues.
  • Support tax compliance across UK and international operations.
  • Manage tax risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for direct tax across the business.

  • ACA, CTA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified.
  • Strong UK corporation tax compliance and reporting experience.
  • Knowledge of UK and international direct tax legislation.
  • Experience within insurance or financial services is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and able to manage multiple priorities.
