Be a part of a revolutionary change
Times are changing at PMI. We've chosen to do something big. The world expects us to act responsibly. And we are doing just that by transforming our business and building our future on one clear purpose: to deliver a smoke-free future.
This transformation will revolutionize every area of our business. The products we sell. Where we sell them. How we connect with consumers across the world. The way we use data to make every decision count.
E-commerce is at the center of that transformation. As the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer channel and a critical driver of consumer acquisition and revenue, it demands the highest standards of intelligence, rigor, and commercial thinking.
About The Team
The E-Commerce Performance team is PMI's global hub for e-commerce business intelligence, channel management, planning and market performance. We provide the data, insights and reporting that drive commercial management decisions across both direct and indirect e-commerce channels, and we work closely with markets and regional teams to translate global strategy into measurable outcomes.
Purpose of the role
This role owns the team's data and reporting function, covering the full chain from data collection and infrastructure through to performance reporting, insight generation, and executive communication. It ensures that the global e-commerce team and its markets always have the intelligence they need to make informed commercial decisions.
Reporting to the Head of Global E-Commerce Performance and Channel Management, you will be accountable for performance reporting, business intelligence, and KPI governance, translating all of it into narratives that connect data to decisions for senior leadership and regional teams. You will coordinate agency resources across technical, reporting, and performance insights, and act as the guardian of data quality and methodology across the global e-commerce team.
You Will Be Responsible For
Performance Reporting & Planning
- Own the global e-commerce reporting calendar across all cadences, from weekly operational tracking through to monthly VP-level performance reports, quarterly business reviews, and annual strategic sessions
- Produce and manage the monthly global e-commerce performance report, a key commercial document reviewed by VP and senior leadership across global and regional teams, combining data rigor with a clear business narrative
- Manage the standard performance reporting suite covering sales, revenue, traffic, consumer behaviour, and funnel metrics across direct and indirect channels
- Deliver dedicated market performance reporting and analysis in partnership with Regional E-Commerce Leads, providing actionable insights to support market decision-making across direct and indirect channels
- Track and measure performance uplift from platform migrations and technology deployments, establishing pre/post KPI frameworks to quantify business impact
- Report on feature activations and CX enhancements across the e-commerce ecosystem
- Support in-year forecasting by working with Regional Leads and markets to track performance against targets and flag variances early

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
