We are supporting a leading international advisory platform in hiring a Manager to join its specialist Energy Corporate Finance team in London. The group advises corporates, infrastructure investors, private equity funds, and energy businesses on strategic M&A transactions across the energy and infrastructure markets.
This is a transaction-focused appointment. The successful candidate will take responsibility for executing live mandates, coordinating key workstreams, and managing junior team members throughout the deal process. You will work closely with senior professionals while gaining direct exposure to clients, investors, and management teams across the energy sector.
This is an opportunity to join an established advisory team with an active pipeline of transactions spanning renewable energy, power, utilities, energy transition, and related infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate brings approximately 4–5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for a background primarily focused on M&A execution and/or the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Execution: Manage key elements of sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates from initial preparation through due diligence, negotiation, and completion.
- Financial Analysis: Build, review, and interpret financial models, valuation analyses, transaction structures, and supporting commercial analysis.
- Client Management: Maintain regular communication with clients, management teams, investors, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Marketing Materials: Lead the preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, pitch materials, valuation reports, and investment analysis.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Manage financial, commercial, legal, tax, and technical workstreams alongside external advisers and internal specialists.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor Analysts and Associates, allocate work effectively, and ensure consistently high-quality transaction deliverables.
- Business Development: Support senior team members in identifying potential mandates, preparing proposals, researching target markets, and developing relationships across the energy sector.

Candidate Profile:
- Approximately 4–5 years of relevant experience within M&A Advisory, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or a closely related transaction-focused environment.
- Strong preference for candidates whose experience has been primarily focused on M&A execution and/or the energy sector.
- Demonstrable experience supporting or managing transactions through multiple stages of the deal lifecycle.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, accounting, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience within renewable energy, power, utilities, infrastructure, energy transition, or related sectors would be highly advantageous.
- Transaction Services experience may be considered where accompanied by meaningful direct M&A or energy-sector exposure.
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting directly with senior clients and investors.
- Commercial, proactive, and collaborative approach, with the ability to operate effectively within a high-performing advisory team.
