Engineering Manager - Fixed-Term (12 Months)
We are looking for an Engineering Manager on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. They will be responsible for leading and delivering industrial engineering projects to support the site’s development and optimization. They will coordinate all CAPEX investment and ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and applicable regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage engineering projects (new equipment installation, renewal of shopfloor, facilities upgrade, etc)
- Oversee the full project life cycle: feasibility, design, installation, commissioning, and handover to operations
- Utilize Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and other Lean techniques to monitor and assess the effectiveness of the maintenance team, driving improved equipment and plant effectiveness.
- Manage the engineering and Maintenance cost budgets within the agreed limits set by the Operations Director
- Be responsible for the control of all Contractors working on site, maintaining all relevant Permits to Work and RAMs through a Contractor Management System.
- Implement innovative solutions to modernize equipment and infrastructure
- Work closely with the EHS Lead to directly manage all aspects of Plant & Equipment maintenance in respect of all prescribed Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and to implement programs which ensure such plant and equipment remains fully inspected, tested, safe to operate, and is fully insured by the Company’s risk assessment advisors.

What you’ll bring:
- Leadership skills
- Lean skills, especially TPM and 5S
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Budgeting and cost control skills
- Strong computer skills, Excel, Project, and AutoCAD
- Project management
- Capital project management
- Plant safety / Contractor Control
- Education to BSc/BEng graduate level in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Process.
- Experience in operational management
