Senior Non-Financial Risk Management Analyst – Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Europe

About the Role
Contributes to the overall success of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Europe function, providing oversight and analytical support across non-financial risk management (including reputational risk), with a primary focus on risk control, governance, and policy management.
The incumbent will also provide support in other areas of non-financial risk management as required.
Accountabilities
The primary responsibilities include:

Producing and coordinating key executive reports for EXCO/CRO, including:
- RAF metrics update
- Strategic risk dashboard (UK)
- Reputational risk dashboard
- Top and emerging risk dashboard

Producing and coordinating reports for:
- Risk committee and Board
- Regulators
-
Driving the GRM Control & Governance Report
-
Conducting horizon-scan for GRM, liaising with risk SMEs for impact assessment, and reporting to ERCG

Supporting the Risk Assurance Team on ad-hoc projects or deliverables as required

Collaborating with other ERM team members as needed

Building and managing relationships with key all-bank Global and GBM Risk Management stakeholders

Championing a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank systems and knowledge

Ensuring risk appetite and culture are considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

Optimising operations of assigned areas while maintaining:
- Adequacy of business controls
- Adherence to internal and regulatory obligations across relevant risk areas

Contributing to a high-performance environment and fostering an inclusive work culture aligned with bank vision, values, and business strategy.

Dimensions
This Senior Analyst role supports Enterprise Risk Management across:
- Non-financial risk oversight for European regulated entities and branch operations.
- Engagement with senior management, Risk Committees, Board Committees, and regulatory stakeholders (across Ireland, UK, and Europe).
- Responsibilities extend to:
- Risk reporting and governance spanning top/emerging risks, reputational risk, regulatory change, and risk governance.
- Potential support for operational risk, model risk, and recovery planning.
Key requirements:

This ensures effective risk oversight, challenge, and regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Education/Experience:
- University Degree/MBA (preferably in Risk Management or First Line Control).
- Experience in a capital markets environment is necessary.
- Strong understanding of markets, personas, and products (e.g. securities, derivatives).
- Technical & Soft Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication, active listening, presentation, and facilitation.
- Proactive initiative and ability to manage multiple deliverables.
