Department: Technology

Company: Canary Wharf Limited

Reporting to: Director - Technology

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Manager for Enterprise Systems and Applications will be accountable for the strategy, governance, performance and continuous improvement of CWG’s enterprise application landscape.

This role will provide leadership across the core systems that enable the business to operate effectively, including Yardi, Salesforce, Workday and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring each platform is fit for purpose, well governed, secure, and aligned to the long-term needs of the organisation.

The role will lead a team of Product Managers, with supporting analysts aligned to each product area as the function matures. Working closely with business stakeholders, Technology Business Partners, Information Security, Data, Infrastructure and external partners, the Enterprise Systems Manager will develop clear platform roadmaps, prioritise demand, improve ways of working and ensure that investment in enterprise systems delivers measurable business value.

This is a strategic leadership role within the Technology Department, responsible for moving CWG towards a more integrated, simplified and business-aligned application environment. The post holder will be expected to bring structure, ownership and governance to enterprise systems, while enabling innovation, operational efficiency, improved data quality and better decision-making across the Group.

Salary: £105,000 - £115,000 (depending on experience)

Working Pattern: Hybrid working (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Closing Date: Sunday 26th July (subject to application response)

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction, leadership and management for CWG’s enterprise systems function, ensuring core applications are aligned to the Group’s objectives, operating model and future business requirements.
  • Own and maintain the roadmap for key enterprise platforms, including Yardi, Salesforce, Workday and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring investment decisions are prioritised against business value, risk reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, develop and manage a team of Product Managers, ensuring clear ownership, performance expectations, succession planning and development pathways are in place.
  • Establish clear product ownership and governance across enterprise systems, ensuring business owners, Technology owners and third-party responsibilities are understood, documented and actively managed.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to understand functional priorities, translate requirements into technology outcomes and ensure enterprise systems support measurable business improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective demand management and prioritisation processes for system enhancements, integrations, reporting, data requests and continuous improvement activity.
  • Ensure enterprise systems are secure, resilient, supportable and compliant with CWG policies, Information Security standards, data protection requirements and relevant legislative obligations.
  • Manage key vendor and partner relationships, ensuring suppliers are held to account for performance, value, service quality, roadmap alignment and contractual commitments.
  • Drive simplification and rationalisation of the application estate, identifying duplication, under-use, poor process alignment and opportunities to improve value from existing platforms.
  • Work with the Data, Architecture and Development teams to ensure integrations, reporting, analytics and data flows are designed in a controlled, scalable and supportable way.
  • Provide regular management information on platform performance, risk, delivery progress, adoption, benefits realisation and areas requiring senior decision or investment.
  • Support the development of business cases, investment proposals and ITIC submissions where enterprise systems require new funding, supplier engagement or material change.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, product thinking, accountability and business partnership across the Enterprise Systems team and wider Technology Department.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
