Position Summary

This position will be responsible for business partnering providing financial appraisal, insights, and business decision support to the Commercial teams, including major contract renewals, new business opportunities, and responses to competitive pressures. In addition, the manager will play a key role in the development of Commercial forecasts and monitoring the financial performance of key customer accounts. The manager will assist in the transfer of financial knowledge and the reinforcement of financial principles to the Commercial Organization. Key Result Areas include: achieving results with regards to delivering Commercial Gross Margin plan/forecast through critical thinking, collaboration, process improvement, and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Cluster/Market Commercial teams financial submissions during forecasting & business planning
  • Provide comprehensive understanding about Cluster/Market performance and outlook and risk profile through effective analysis and business partnering
  • Proactively review profit initiatives and risk mitigation activities.
  • Provide financial analysis for major proposals affecting the business; e.g. contract renewals, new product reviews and competitive pressures
  • Provide decision support analysis for Customer and Marketing Teams to ensure the absolute and quality of margin is driven through effective direction on TI ROI, and margin management
  • Preparation of the Category, Channel & Large Customer’s financial plans.
  • Manage Category, Channel & Large Customer P&Ls from sales to gross margin, considering appropriate benchmarks and best practice to driving improved outcomes.
  • Deliver systems & process improvements through collaboration with International COE and engagement with the commercial team.
  • Support the team with adopting a curious mindset that looks both internally and externally
