Manager FP&A at SPX FLOW (An ITT Company) Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
About The Role
We are looking for a finance professional to join us as a Manager FP&A. In this role, you will support global commercial activities and SG&A through financial forecasting, budgeting, detailed analysis, and standardized reporting, while delivering key insights to leadership.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in FP&A, finance, and accounting within a B2B manufacturing environment, along with:
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Business acumen
- A solid understanding of financial systems and processes
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting weekly/monthly/quarterly outlooking, LBE, and actuals variance analysis
- Performing pipeline analysis
- Conducting variance analysis for month-end bridges and Corporate Executive Committee (CEC) materials, including support for order-driven outlook changes
- Analyzing historic and backlog standard margins by Value Stream/Region—and acting on strategic outcomes
- Engaging in key account profitability analysis (in collaboration with Director Global Key Accounts)
- Estimating profitability across profit centres and channel partners
- Measuring Customer Service Level Agreement performance and profitability
- Supporting outlook analysis, with a focus on savings opportunities
- Additional ad hoc analysis as required by leadership

Contributing to key strategic projects, including progress reporting and highlighting achievements to senior management team

Building and maintaining financial models to quantify the impact of internal drivers and macroeconomic factors

Evaluating existing financial processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity via automation and simplification initiatives
Skills & Experience
Requirements include:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
- Experience working with large datasets, databases, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Financial statements
- Accounting principles
- Financial systems and processes
- Internal controls
- Manufacturing or industrial background, including operational and commercial acumen, is highly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly when translating financial data for non-financial stakeholders
Technical skills:
- Proficient with: OneStream, SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Microsoft Office Suite
- Desirable: SQL (data handling/querying expertise)

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Ideal: Chartered Accountant (CPA) qualification
- 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting roles
