In this role, you’ll work with multinational clients, collaborate across EY’s international network and gain experience that goes well beyond a traditional compliance role.

The opportunity As a Manager in our Global Tax Managed Services team, you will:

Lead multi-country compliance and reporting engagements Support tax transformation, outsourcing and process improvement projects Work with global teams and stakeholders across jurisdictions Help shape future-focused tax operating models using technology and data

Key responsibilities Global delivery & stakeholder management

Manage global compliance engagements across multiple jurisdictions Build trusted relationships with clients and cross-border teams (UK, India, Europe) Oversee delivery quality, timelines, and service performance (SLAs/KPIs) Lead offshore and onshore teams, providing guidance and coaching

Transformation & process improvement

Identify opportunities to improve compliance and reporting processes Support design and implementation of efficient, scalable tax operating models Contribute to projects involving automation, data optimisation, and technology enablement

Commercial & financial management

Manage budgets, resourcing, and profitability of engagements Support pricing, scoping, and commercial negotiations Identify opportunities to expand services and deliver additional value to clients

Risk, quality & governance

Ensure compliance with internal quality and risk frameworks Manage contractual governance and issue resolution processes Work closely with quality and risk management and legal teams on complex matters

What we’re looking for You’ll likely bring strong tax experience, commercial judgement and the ambition to grow in a global, evolving environment.

Experience in Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax or Accounting in professional services or industry Experience working across multi-country or cross-border engagements Experience leading and developing teams, including offshore delivery models Strong stakeholder, project and team leadership skills Interest in transformation, automation, tax technology or data analytics ACA, CTA, CA or equivalent qualifications are helpful but not essential A collaborative and globally minded professional Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Problem-solver with a continuous improvement and innovation mindset Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
