Manager of Global Sales Onboarding (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

At IFS

About the Role

IFS is a multi-billion-dollar global enterprise software leader, driving innovation with AI-powered solutions to empower organisations. This 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) role is pivotal in transforming how IFS onboards and activates sales talent—both internally and within our partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate will own the strategy and execution of a best-in-class onboarding experience, reducing ramp time, boosting seller confidence, and accelerating growth for our Global Time-to-Market (GTM) teams.

This role is all about strategy, execution, and impact—shaping a scalable program that extends beyond the first 90 days, aligns sales training with real-world performance, and bridges the gap between onboarding excellence and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Program Design

  • Design and lead IFS’s global sales onboarding program for both internal sellers and partners, covering pre-boarding, bootcamps, manager integration, certifications, and post-90-day reinforcement.
  • Develop and implement a 30/60/90+ day onboarding journey, ensuring key phased milestones are aligned with selling behaviours and measurable business outcomes.
  • Create tailored onboarding pathways—role-specific and role-agnostic—that track readiness through the first 6–12 months via behavioural indicators and learning milestones.

Collaboration & Customisation

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Presales, Partners, BDR (Business Development Rep), and Marketing teams to ensure onboarding aligns with IFS’s GTM motions, methodology, and customer-focused storytelling.
  • Partner with Frontline Managers to define their role in onboarding success, including:
    • Coaching expectations,
    • Evaluation rubrics,
    • Continuous feedback loops,
    • Structured 1:1 debriefs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
