Temple University's Human Resources Department is searching for a Manager HR Systems!

Salary Grade: T27
Salary Range: $58,850. - $70,000.
A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

This position requires the following background checks: criminal history review.

Education and Experience
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree
- Required Experience: At least 3 years of directly related technical experience.
Experience with applications/systems such as Tableau, Cognos, Extender, and ERP systems.
Experience creating ADHOC reports for both internal and external use.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills and Abilities
Required Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of database technologies Cognos, Tableau, Access, and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, with a working knowledge of all applicable computer software.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals.
- Ability to generate cyclic and AD HOC reports for both internal and external use.
- Demonstrated attentiveness to detail and skills to follow up on unresolved issues.
- Create and maintain written operational instructions and manuals.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Human Resources experience.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and enhancing HR software systems that support operational needs; recommends process improvements.
- Provide direction, training, and guidance to HR staff and system users to ensure effective use of systems and tools.
- Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR websites and portals, including contributing to layout, structure, and user experience.
- Assist in the distribution of internal and external HR communications and digital content across platforms.
- Coordinate with labor relations and various bargaining units in the development, refinement and timing of contractually required reports, format and delivery methods for contractual compliance.
- Contribute to the design and development of reports to support operational and strategic needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of HR data to provide informed recommendations and support decision-making.
- Serve as a resource and consultant for specialized HR systems, including reporting and ERP platforms.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on assigned projects and initiatives.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments in alignment with project deadlines.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical support, anticipate needs, and support project goals.

Work Arrangement
This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
