About The Role
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to connect our people to our mission, priorities, and each other. Sitting in the People Experience team, you’ll lead on creating clear, engaging, and inspiring communications that help everyone across the company feel informed, involved and aligned.
You'll work closely with senior leaders, team leads and subject matter experts to shape the messages that matter, from big picture strategy to day-to-day updates. You’ll also bring rigour and creativity to how we communicate, making the complex feel simple and the important feel exciting.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role that sits at the heart of how we grow our culture, drive engagement and get things done. This is a fast-moving, high-visibility role that requires exceptional organisation, sound judgement, and relentless follow-through in a constantly evolving environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner with leaders across the business to shape how we communicate key messages on strategy, people, and culture, advising on what to say, how to say it, and when. Lead the strategy and rollout of internal communications for big business changes – creating compelling cascades that are consistent, human, and clear. Own and manage internal communications channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, Slack, Confluence), ensuring content is consistent, transparent, timely, and engaging to support alignment and connection across the business. Write and edit communications for senior leaders, from talking points and FAQs to emails and presentations. You'll flex between global company-wide messages and local department-level updates. Partner on executive messaging and content for company-wide forums and key moments, ensuring clarity and alignment across channels. Build templates and repeatable tools that help others communicate well, especially for moments like product launches, people initiatives or change announcements. Championing storytelling that brings our culture to life, identifying and sharing stories that spotlight our people, celebrate successes, and embody our Operating Principles. Work cross-functionally with relevant teams such as Brand, PR, and Regional Communications roles to align on communication goals, channel strategy, and messaging, including reactive messaging and issue response. Use data and insight to assess effectiveness, monitor engagement and improve how we communicate over time – from surveys to feedback loops. Monitor and develop strategies to influence our employee engagement and culture. Reimagine how we communicate, exploring bold, creative ways to use existing and new channels, from Slack and video to newsletters and live events, keeping our internal comms fresh, interesting and full of energy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
