Manager, Investigations, Diligence & Compliance
Kroll’s Investigations, Diligence and Compliance (IDC) practice assists clients in Forensic Investigations and delivering actionable data and insight business intelligence that help clients worldwide make critical decisions and mitigate risk.
Kroll’s Eastern Europe and Central Asia team, part of IDC, is seeking a Manager, based in London. The successful candidate will manage projects and client relationships and will have responsibility for case completion and follow-up.
Responsibilities:

Responsibility for effectively running a case (or work streams of large cases) through to its closure, from structuring projects, managing resources, presenting findings and providing commercially viable advice to the client.as they relate to Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia

Monitor the quality of Associate research and analysis on the case, ensuring that Kroll’s high standards are met each time. Provide guidance and feedback on research where necessary.

Write well structured, logical and objective reports which present research in a client focused manner and addresses the clients’ central questions and concerns.

Ensure high standards of financial and administrative case management, through to collection.

Support the development of the Investigations Practice in the region by identifying new clients and business opportunities and retaining key relationships with existing clients, contribute to the identification of new client opportunities

Contribute to the professional development and performance management of team personnel and external resources.

Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Kroll’s network of offices and various practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong academic background (Bachelor's degree required. Master's in relevant field a plus)
- Prior experience in a business intelligence, political risk, strategic affairs or other consulting firm
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, in English, with the ability to deliver eloquently written and oral reports
- Managerial level report writing skills.
- Exceptional presentation and client relationship skills.
- Fluency in a language from the region - either Eastern Europe or other - is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable interest in regional business, politics and societies
- Knowledge of the regional business environment, preferably gained through practical experience
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Demonstrated effectiveness in project management and team leadership.
- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills, including the ability to summarize information quickly and effectively from multiple sources into concise analytical assessments.
- Exceptional attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to initiate, manage, develop, and maintain client relationships, ensuring that client expectations are met.
- The position will require regular international travel.
