About the Role ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation dedicated to accelerating the development of new medicines and treatments, seeks a Manager, Investigator Site Budgets & Contracts. This role demands a values-driven professional who embodies collaboration, agility, and integrity, with a focus on efficiency, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement across clinical trials spanning phases I–IV.
What You Will Do
You will lead investigator site budget and contract oversight, ensuring financial accuracy across global clinical studies. Key responsibilities include:
- Execute investigator site budgets using Grants Manager/GrantPlan to create, review, and manage budgets for multiple clinical trials within a designated therapeutic area.
- Provide strategic financial planning to Clinical Operations teams, integrating Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarking tools and study-specific parameters for site budget forecasting.
- Produce competitive FMV-based budget targets and negotiation parameters for outsourced CRO models, aligned with clinical trial objectives across infectious disease, oncology, and/or therapeutics areas.
- Oversee global investigator site budgets, ensuring continuity and adherence to GCP principles, and serve as the lead point of contact (POC) for CRO budget negotiations.
- Implement cross-program consistency in country-level site budget targets while tracking and managing Negotiations under Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA).
- Support contract template negotiations with Legal (preferably experience working with CTA language).

Your Profile
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in global investigator site budget creation and negotiations (including Phase I–IV budgets).
- Proficient proficiency in Grants Manager or GrantPlan.
- Contract negotiation expertise—preferably experience with CTA templates and collaboration with Legal teams.
- Ability to analyze financial data, provide cost justification, and manage high volumes of financial information.
- Familiarity with outsourced CRO models and direct oversight of investigator site financial activities.
- Strong communication skills, adequacy to interact with stakeholders such as CDO, CROs, and investigator sites.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (standalone systems + standalone applications such as MS Office Suite).
- Quick learner with a highly detailed, results-driven approach.
