Job Title: Investment Performance Reporting Professional
Our client, a leading GCC Pension Fund based in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced investment performance reporting professional to support the implementation and continued enhancement of their institutional investment performance reporting capabilities.
You will play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s performance reporting infrastructure, with responsibility for implementing performance measurement solutions, improving reporting processes and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and scalable investment performance outputs. The role will involve working across investment teams, operations, technology, custodians, external managers and service providers to enhance data quality, reporting automation, controls and operating models.
Key Responsibilities:

Investment Performance Reporting:
- Manage the end-to-end performance reporting cycle across multi-asset portfolios, including daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, ensuring accurate calculation and delivery of investment performance outputs.

Performance Platform Implementation:
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of investment performance measurement systems, including requirements gathering, configuration, data integration, testing, parallel runs, implementation and ongoing optimisation.

Performance Measurement & Data Controls:
- Oversee performance calculations, data validation, reconciliation processes and quality controls across custodian feeds, administrator data, benchmarks, market data and internal investment datasets.

- Reporting Infrastructure & Process Development:
- Build and enhance scalable reporting frameworks, standardised templates, workflows and documentation to improve efficiency, consistency and auditability across the investment performance function.

Benchmark Governance & Attribution Analysis:
- Maintain benchmark data, methodologies and governance processes while supporting contribution and attribution analysis, performance investigations and resolution of return discrepancies.

Data Management & Automation:
- Drive improvements in data processes through SQL, Python and BI tools, automating reconciliations, exception monitoring, reporting workflows and control processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Work closely with Investments, Risk, Investment Operations, IT, custodians, external managers and service providers to resolve data issues, enhance reporting capabilities and ensure effective delivery of performance services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience within investment performance measurement, performance reporting, investment analytics or a related institutional investment function.
- Proven experience managing investment performance reporting processes across multi-asset institutional portfolios, including public and private markets.
- Demonstrated experience implementing, enhancing or operating investment performance systems, including data integration, configuration, testing and reporting workflows.
- Strong understanding of performance measurement methodologies, benchmark construction, attribution analysis, reconciliations and investment reporting requirements.
- Experience working with custodians, fund administrators, market data providers and external investment managers to resolve data and performance discrepancies.
- Strong technical capability using SQL, Python, Excel, BI tools or similar analytical platforms to automate reporting processes and improve data quality.
- Experience with investment performance and reporting platforms such as SimCorp, Bloomberg, FactSet, Eagle, Aladdin, Clearwater or similar systems would be advantageous.
- Experience managing vendors or outsourced resources, including service delivery, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage complex reporting processes and engage effectively across investment and technology teams.
