Investor Reporting Manager – Selene Holdings

Position Summary

The Investor Reporting Manager oversees the investor reporting function, including training, performance evaluation, development, and monitoring of the reporting team. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution across all investor-facing processes.


Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties)

To succeed in this role, the individual must excel in the following core responsibilities—additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

  • Manage Investor Reporting Function
    • Direct reporting processes and maintain oversight of team operations.
  • Review & Approve Reports
    • Ensure investor reports are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
  • Validate Investor Remittances
    • Monitor payments for accuracy and timeliness to prevent penalties.
  • Coordinate Agency & Private Investor Reporting
    • Assist teams in meeting monthly submissions for regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee Loan Reconciliations
    • Manage boarding and service released loans, including:
      • Reconciling loan-level data against trial balances.
      • Validating principal balance accuracy.
      • Resolving variances in pre/post-boarding for reconciliation.
    • Prepare and submit settlement files for funds transfer.
    • Request reimbursements for negative remittances directly from purchasers.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Stay up-to-date on investor, state, and federal regulations relevant to accounting.
    • Work with leadership to update procedures to align with new legislation.
  • Special Projects & Audits
    • Support departmental projects and respond to internal/external audit requests.
    • Provide documentation to ensure audit preparedness.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
    • Lead departmental team development with a focus on leadership and compliance alignment.
  • Policy & Control Implementation
    • Develop, enforce, and monitor control standards within your responsibility area.
    • Oversee quality control initiatives and remediate findings promptly.
    • Collaborate on audit exams with internal/external partners.
    • Ensure adherence to Selene’s internal compliance policies.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following qualifying experience, skills, and abilities to perform this role effectively.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • 4–10 years of mortgage loan servicing management experience, preferably in a progressive leadership capacity.
