Title: Manager, Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence JDF - 122406

Onsite/Remote: Remote Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Manager, Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence for John Deere Financial (JDF) located in Johnston, IA, you will:

  • Lead Competitive Intelligence efforts at John Deere Financial, including Competitive Risk Council oversight and facilitation
  • Coordinate enterprise research efforts to align resources and strategies between sales regions (Ag & Turf and Construction & Forestry) and John Deere Financial
  • Serve as the lead for market and competitive insights, facilitating collaboration amongst multiple functional areas at JDF to create insight pipelines supporting decision making across the organization.
  • Support the Customer Experience team by delivering market insights from multiple channels to improve the John Deere Financial experience.

What Skills You Need

  • 3 or more years of experience conducting market, competitive, or customer research to identify business opportunities and trends
  • Advanced communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including director and executive-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated abilities in project management, including schedule management, goal identification and alignment, and success delivering results
  • Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Established track record of supporting strategy development through market research, competitive intelligence, and data-driven recommendations
  • Understanding of the customer, dealer, and equipment lifecycle, including how John Deere Financial supports equipment operations.
  • Experience monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business and product stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to global stakeholders, leveraging research expertise and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics or equivalent related work experience
