About the Role
Our Professional Learning team is seeking a highly motivated, experienced classroom teacher or leader to join our team of global professional learning experts. As the Manager of School Partnerships (MSP), you will:
- Deliver high-impact professional learning workshops and job-embedded coaching to K–12 educators.
- Serve as a Carnegie Learning product ambassador, ensuring implementation fidelity across partner schools.
- Promote teacher effectiveness and foster best practices in math and literacy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Customer Support, Customer Success, Sales, and Account Management.
The MSP reports directly to the Director of Professional Learning in their region.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Learning Design & Delivery
- Build and strengthen customer partnerships while ensuring successful implementation of Carnegie Learning’s mathematics and literacy education solutions.
- Develop and facilitate engaging workshops:
- Initial implementation training
- Math Academies
- Virtual workshops
- Provide job-embedded professional learning through:
- Coaching cycles
- Demonstration lesson support
- Co-teaching and lesson planning
- PLC (Professional Learning Community) facilitation
- Design custom professional learning experiences tailored to partner school or district needs.
- Proactively identify risks to implementation success and develop solutions.

Sales Support & Strategic Partnerships
- Partner with Account Executives for pre- and post-sales discussions.
- Help develop proposals, presentations, and pilot opportunities with professional learning activities.
- Actively forecast professional learning needs and deliverables for partner schools.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work cross-functionally to influence product development, marketing, and thought leadership.
- Engage with leadership teams and educators to refine teaching strategies.
(Typical Daily Breakdown:
- 60% Delivering professional learning
- 5% Supporting sales
- 15% Operations/documentation
- 20% Other initiatives )
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (required).
- Preference given for a Master’s in Education.
- 5+ years of classroom teaching experience (math/Literacy/ELA preferred).
- Demonstrated success teaching with Carnegie Learning resources (a plus).
- Prior experience in:
- Mentoring/coaching teachers
- Designing/providing professional learning workshops
- Understanding school/district infrastructure (technology and operations).
- Preferred experience as a:
- K–12 Principal or district Administrator
- Educational Consultant
- Intermediate Unit (IU) leader
Skills & Abilities
- Strong time management (calendar organization, goal-setting, prioritization).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a problem-solving mindset.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Business travel 60–70% of the time—US driving distance from Reading, PA (consideration for key states: CT, DE, IL, IN, IA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, NE, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, PA, VA, VA, DC, WV).
