The Team
The Private Client Services team is an integral part of A&M Tax, an independent tax group made up of experienced tax professionals dedicated to providing customized tax advice to clients and investors across a broad range of industries. Our private client tax professionals are based in London, Manchester, and Birmingham and provide advice to ultra-high net worth individuals and their family structures. The client base is often internationally mobile and entrepreneurial, and the team often work closely with A&M teams in other jurisdictions to ensure the advice is holistic and comprehensive. Its professionals extend A&M’s commitment to offering clients a choice in advisors who are free from audit-based conflicts of interest and bring an unyielding commitment to delivering responsive client service. A&M Tax has offices in major metropolitan markets throughout EMEA, the U.S., Asia, and Australia.
In today’s increasingly complex global tax environment, having international reach, a strong local presence, and the right expertise is critical to the successful execution of all client tax affairs.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Managing Directors and Senior Directors to provide advice to our private clients and their family structures, including advising on offshore trust matters;
- Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations;
- Help plan, develop, and review advice memos and other client deliverables to a high standard that meets and/or exceeds client expectations;
- Develop and maintain client relationships;
- Provide leadership, develop, mentor, and motivate our team members by actively participating in their advancement through on-the-job training, providing performance feedback, counseling, and fostering our team-based atmosphere.

Qualifications
- A number of years experience in international private client services
- Knowledge of the taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals and offshore trusts
- Strong writing, analytical, research, and organizational skills
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
The ideal candidates will be engaged, entrepreneurial, action-orientated, and hands-on. They will have experience working with international private clients and their structures. The ability to quickly establish, develop, and enhance internal and client relationships will be key in the collaborative network we work in at A&M.
Coming into the team, your role will be varied, dynamic, and have the opportunity to work with some exciting clients. You will be part of the growth journey of the team and have the chance to partner with senior leadership in key decisions on the strategy and future development within the market. You will work with a number of talented individuals within the business in a supportive surrounding that will provide you the opportunity to challenge your tax technical skills in a stimulating environment.
