The Team
The Private Client Services team is a key part of A&M Tax, an independent tax advisory group. Comprising experienced tax professionals, the team delivers tailored tax advice to clients and investors across diverse industries.
Based in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, the team serves ultra-high net worth individuals and their family structures. Given the international mobility and entrepreneurial nature of our client base, we collaborate closely with A&M colleagues across all jurisdictions to ensure advice is holistic, conflict-free (no audit-related interests), and responsive.
A&M Tax operates in major metropolitan markets across EMEA, the US, Asia, and Australia.
Our global expertise—combined with local nuance—is essential for effectively addressing the complex tax needs of our private clients.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Managing Directors and Senior Directors to provide specialized tax advice for private clients and their family structures, including offshore trust matters.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and apply them strategically to client scenarios.
- Lead the planning, development, and review of advice memos and client deliverables, ensuring high standards that exceed client expectations.
- Build and maintain client relationships, fostering long-term trust and continuity.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture by:
- Taking an active role in team member development
- Providing performance feedback, mentorship, and on-the-job training
- Shaping a supportive work environment

Qualifications
Essential qualifications include:
- A strong track record in international private client taxation
- Expertise in the taxation of:
- Non-UK-domiciled individuals
- Offshore trusts
- Analytical, research, and organizational fluency—with robust writing and presentation skills
- Commercial and business development acumen to grow client relationships
- Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
- Proven ability to add client-centric value while demonstrating initiative
