Manager, Process Architect

Process Architecture Manager (Finance) – Checkout.com

About the Role

Checkout.com is on a mission to remove friction in global finance—powering billions of transactions smoothly for businesses like eBay, ASOS, Klarna, Uber Eats, and Sony. As a Process Architecture Manager within the Finance function, you will shape operational excellence, designing frameworks to scale FinOps globally and driving continuous improvement across cross-functional workflows.

You’ll act as a strategic partner to Finance leadership, eliminating inefficiencies and fostering a culture that embraces innovation.

This opportunity is perfect for a technology-savvy thought leader who thrives in ambiguity, where every challenge is a chance to build something groundbreaking.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Process Design & Scaling

  • Partner with senior Finance leaders (AP, Treasury, Tax, Accounting) to identify and prioritise macroeconomic operational bottlenecks, ensuring initiatives deliver highest ROI.
  • Develop enterprise-wide process architectures—establishing standards, methodologies, and toolkits (e.g., BPMN standards, documentation templates) for consistency and quality.
  • Design scalable, cross-functional workflows that support hyper-growth while maintaining compliance in regulated fintech environments.

Performance & Accountability

  • Define and oversee key operational KPIs, identity systemic performance gaps, and hold the business accountable for improvements.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable strategic recommendations for leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
