About the Role:

As the leader of Procurement Operations in the SC Johnson Professional Business Unit (PRO), you lead the day-to-day operations for PRO driving winning performance in the areas of Customer Service, Cost, Quality, Innovation and Sustainability. This role owns and works cross-functionally to deliver on supplier performance measurement, continuous improvement of processes, innovation projects, and supply chain resilience while managing a team of 1 direct report. This role represents Procurement within the EU PRO supply chain leadership team and partners closely with Procurement Portfolio to ensure PRO is represented in key material sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads PRO’s procurement organization for EU. Accountable for managing a portfolio size of approximately US$30MM spend.
  • Accountable for delivery of PRO results in terms of Cost Savings, Profitability, Supply Resiliency, Quality, Sustainability, and Customer Service.
  • Collaborate, and if required lead, with the Procurement Portfolio teams on sourcing strategy development.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to sourcing strategies in line with the needs of PRO.
  • Lead execution of strategy implementation within the region.
  • Manage PRO EU supplier performance through execution of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program.
  • Work cross-functionally and with PRO stakeholders (e.g., Planning, Quality, Finance, etc.) to drive process excellence and optimization.
  • Ensure prices and other SAP parameters are well maintained (including price maintenance).
  • Partner with PRO’s EPD and NPD teams to ensure projects are implemented on time.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Procurement leadership experience
  • Skilled with contract negotiation and sourcing methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team development competences and experience to raise the capability of a procurement team.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make prudent business decisions and manage day-to-day operational issues.
