Manager, Project Engineering - MAR

Location: Calcasieu Pass (CP), Cameron, Louisiana

Summary

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineering Manager (MAR) to oversee all aspects of Marine Assets and Risks (MAR) engineering alignment for the Calcasieu Pass LNG 2 (CP2) facility in Cameron, Louisiana.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary site interface for all MAR engineering technical alignment
  • Contribute input to the weekly site engineering report
  • Serve as the MAR RFI Owner (Request for Information)
  • Handle MAR punch list resolution, ensuring timely issue closure
  • Validate check sheets and sign A and B ITRs (Interface Transfer Registers) as needed, collaborating with site coordinators
  • Review EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) engineering work packs for accuracy and completeness
  • Assess installation, erection, and precommissioning plans, requirements, and associated documentation, including:
    • Reviewing installation manuals
    • Communicating specific technical requirements and sequences to outside contractors
  • Conduct major arriving equipment inspections and participate in walk-downs
  • Maintain a log of scope transferred to site and coordinate interface meetings between EPC and OFE (Own-Furnished Equipment) contractors

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related discipline)
  • Professional accreditation (such as PMP or equivalent) is desirable
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Project Engineering/Management, with a minimum of 4 years in the LNG industry
  • Expert-level knowledge of project management systems and principles, including:
    • Establishing tools for operational readiness
    • Monitoring performance and reporting requirements
    • Effectively collaborating with Engineering and Management teams
