Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of complex initiatives within the Payments domain. This role requires strong execution skills, deep collaboration with engineering teams, and the ability to navigate modern payment platforms in a regulated, high-availability environment.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Own end-to-end project delivery from planning through release and stabilization
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and governance
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Payments Operations to drive execution
  • Manage projects involving payment transaction flows, integrations, and processing platforms
  • Track delivery metrics, provide clear status updates, and escalate issues proactively
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate delivery ceremonies and promote strong documentation and operational readiness

What You Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

Must-Have

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in project management.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and experience working closely with engineering and QA teams
  • Experience managing projects involving APIs, microservices, databases, and messaging systems
  • Delivery experience with high-volume transactional systems, preferably in Payments or financial services
  • Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum or hybrid delivery models
  • Payments domain experience, including transaction lifecycles and system integrations
  • Working knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory standards relevant to Payments
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with specific payment rails (Cards, Real-Time Payments, ACH, Cross-Border, Merchant Payments)
  • Exposure to performance, scalability, or resiliency initiatives on critical platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management in regulated environments
  • Experience working on regulatory, audit, or compliance-driven projects
  • Project management certifications (PMP, SAFe, CSM or equivalent)
