Manager of Sales Operations & Enablement

Location: UK (fully remote) Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

We are seeking a Manager of Sales Operations & Enablement to elevate global sales performance by designing scalable processes, tools, and enablement programs that empower sales teams to operate efficiently and effectively.


This role involves translating commercial strategy into operational excellence, collaborating with Global Commercial, Sales leadership, Revenue Management, Marketing, Contact Centre, IT, Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and Itinerary Planning. You'll drive adoption, enhance seller experience, and boost productivity, forecast accuracy, and revenue outcomes.


Responsibilities

Sales Planning & Operational Support

  • Support International Sales leadership in executing annual/quarterly sales plans, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Prepare operational inputs, materials, and analytics for pipeline reviews, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and sales planning.
  • Translate commercial priorities into practical operational plans, timelines, and deliverables.

Process Excellence & Standardization

  • Document, maintain, and improve sales processes (lead management, partner engagement, opportunity management, quoting/contracting, charter workflows).
  • Reduce manual effort and friction through process simplification and clear SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Apply continuous improvement to achieve efficiency and consistency across regions.

Sales Technology & CRM Administration

  • Act as the day-to-day business owner for sales tools (CRM, partner/travel advisor tools, content management, forecasting, sales automation).
  • Partner with IT teams to enhance, integrate, test, and scale tools.
  • Oversee AI/analytics adoption to improve seller productivity and insights.
  • Ensure data governance and quality standards are met.

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Build and maintain actionable dashboards and reports for leadership.
  • Analyze pipeline health, forecast trends, seller activity, and partner performance.
  • Surface risks and opportunities while supporting forecast accuracy.
  • Align reporting with timely data definitions and governance.

Sales Enablement & Readiness

  • Execute enablement programs, including onboarding, training, certifications, playbooks, and role-based learning paths.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align enablement content with brand standards, messaging, and itineraries.
  • Deliver scalable tools/content for partners and travel advisors.
  • Track the effectiveness and adoption of enablement initiatives.

Commercial Operations Support

  • Support territory design, quota-setting, and capacity planning with Sales, Finance, and Revenue teams.
  • Assist with sales compensation administration (HR/Finance partnership).
  • Improve deal desk and charter approval workflows without sacrificing margin discipline.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Drive change initiatives for new processes/tools, including communications, training, and feedback loops.
  • Be the primary contact for field questions, issues, and enhancement requests.
  • Partner with field champions to reinforce adoption and credibility.

Leadership & Budget Support

  • Potentially manage or mentor generalists/specialists (enablement analysts, system admins).
  • Track budgets/vendors for sales operations and enablement initiatives.
  • Embody Windstar’s mindset—guest-first philosophy and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, or related roles.
  • Hands-on CRM and sales technology expertise (reporting and data management).
  • Strong analytical skills; experience building dashboards/insights and documenting/optimizing processes.
  • Proven track record in sales training/enablement programs and change adoption.
  • Exceptional written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of UK/European travel industry distribution networks.

Preferred

  • Experience in travel, cruise, hospitality, luxury services, or B2B2C partner/channel environments.
  • Awareness of travel advisor ecosystems and consortia.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or sales analytics tools.
  • Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, enablement, or project management.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, UK-based (or assigned by Windstar).
  • International travel as required for Sales teams/partners/events.
