By immersing itself in fashion and predicting future trends, Vogue defines the culture of this industry.

Vogue is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. Embedded within the British Vogue editorial team, this role partners closely with editors and writers to bring storytelling to life across social channels—driving engagement, audience growth and web traffic.
About the Role
The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal part in growing British Vogue’s loyal audience through innovative strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Pinterest. This role demands a thoughtful balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, aligning with the fast-paced nature of social media.
We are looking for someone with a sharp sense of editorial instinct, an exceptional eye for visuals, and profound understanding of social storytelling and the Vogue voice. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas to elevate British Vogue’s digital presence, adapting storytelling to social platforms while maintaining editorial integrity.
Variability is key: you must be comfortable operating at both a big-picture level and deeply engaging in granular details. Collaboration is essential—this is a role for someone who embraces an agile team, frequently working outside regular office hours and at events for live content capture.
Strong communication skills, sound judgement and a collaborative mindset are mandatory. Proven ability to grow audiences organically and utilise data to refine strategy will be critical for success.
Key Responsibilities
The role will focus on the following key areas:
- Social Content Creation and Execution
- Manage day-to-day publishing, optimisation, and performance across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Pinterest).
- Develop and implement top-of-funnel content strategies, including cover reveals, major events (e.g. awards season), and editorial franchises.
- Work closely with editorial teams to maximise engagement and referral traffic for all stories.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
