A global consulting firm is looking to hire a Manager into its UK Strategy & Transactions team, specialising in the Energy, Utilities and Resources sector. Joining a well-established international platform, you will play a key role in the continued growth of the UK practice as the firm expands its capabilities and strengthens its market presence. The role offers exposure to high-profile strategy, commercial due diligence and value creation engagements, working with corporate and investor clients across the UK and internationally.
The Role You will lead and deliver a range of strategy, commercial due diligence and value creation projects across the Energy, Utilities and Resources sector.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving project delivery, managing workstreams and ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients. You will oversee a team of consultants and analysts, balancing detailed analytical work with client interaction and stakeholder management.

The role offers significant responsibility from the outset, with exposure to a broad mix of strategic and transaction-related assignments. While the focus will be on supporting the continued growth of the UK practice, there may also be opportunities to work with international teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support the delivery of complex strategy and transaction projects. Manage project teams, ensuring quality, structure and timely delivery. Provide robust, data-driven analysis to support commercial decision making. Work with corporate, private equity, infrastructure and sovereign wealth fund clients. Contribute to business development, thought leadership and practice growth.

Candidate Profile Several years’ experience in strategy or management consulting, with a track record of delivering transaction-related projects. Experience across strategy, commercial due diligence and value creation. Exposure to Energy, Resources, Utilities, Renewables or other aligned sectors is essential. You are intellectually curious, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership.
