This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in London or Munich.
The Role: How you’ll make an impact at Personio
Working in HR within an organisation that builds market-leading HR technology solutions offers a unique opportunity. As valued partners at Personio and thought leaders in the HR industry, our People, Workplace and IT team not only powers the growth of our company but also directly influences the future of the industry.
As our Manager, Talent Acquisition you will play a key role in shaping Personio’s tech organisation across Europe, with a strong focus on hiring exceptional Product, Engineering, and Design talent. You’ll lead end-to-end recruiting for critical roles, partner closely with senior leaders, and lead the tech hiring effort from our Munich HQ, collaborating with stakeholders across Europe.
This is a hands-on leadership role.
Role Responsibilities: What you’ll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of high performing TA Partners, setting a clear bar for quality and strengthening how we operate.
- Roll up your sleeves and own end-to-end recruiting for priority roles.
- Continuously improve and standardise high-signal hiring practices, utilising data from our ATS and Brighthire. Ensure strong assessment quality through scorecards, interviewer enablement, and clear decision-making frameworks.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design leaders to achieve hiring goals.
- Establish and monitor team metrics and individual KPIs to elevate hiring outcomes. Track and report on funnel health, conversion, time-to-hire, candidate & hiring manager experience, offer acceptance, and quality signals—using data to drive positive change across our hiring processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends across the European tech landscape, surfacing relevant insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Partner with Employer Branding and tech leadership to strengthen Personio’s story for Product/Engineering/Design talent through events, communities, content, and referrals.

What You Need To Succeed
- You have extensive Talent Acquisition experience in technical hiring (Product, Engineering and/or Design), ideally in a product-focused company, including senior and complex roles.
- You bring proven people leadership experience, with a track record of coaching and developing recruiters, setting clear expectations, and raising performance.
- You are a confident and influential communicator and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders—able to align on priorities, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
- You work in a highly structured way and can balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery, prioritising multiple complex initiatives while maintaining high quality.
- You are a natural networker and relationship builder, able to partner effectively across Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, People/HR, and hiring teams, while building trusted relationships with candidates and talent communities.
- You are highly data-driven, proficient in using funnel metrics and market insights to diagnose issues, define KPIs, and translate analysis into clear actions and improvements.
- You are fluent in English.

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 3 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
