In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and evolving how the firm attracts, motivates, and rewards top talent by bringing Ryan’s compensation philosophy to life through impactful programs and practices across multiple geographies and regulatory environments. You will be a strategic partner and a hands‑on contributor; someone who enjoys building, strengthening, and scaling Total Rewards capability across a diverse and growing region. From designing and executing compensation initiatives to solving complex regional challenges, including benefits strategy and harmonisation you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the team member experience, client service excellence, and the firm’s overall performance. Working closely with the People Group and senior leaders across the firm, you will help ensure compensation and benefits strategies are aligned with business priorities, market dynamics, and regional needs. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, thrives in ambiguity, and is motivated by building sustainable, fit‑for‑purpose solutions in a global environment. Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results Client: Exemplifies customer service orientation and effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and present to senior leadership. Value: Administers existing and proposed compensation programs, including (but not limited to) base and incentive pay structures. Uses objective analysis to recommend optimum solutions that align with the Firm’s strategic goals and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Leads the design, evaluation, and ongoing enhancement of global compensation frameworks and supports regional benefits strategy, including vendor evaluation and program harmonisation where appropriate. Manages and administers job evaluations to ensure title, level and salary range/pay grade for jobs are appropriate and consistent across the Firm. Ensures job classifications are in compliance with appropriate local laws. Participates in the Merit & Promotion annual cycle to ensure compensation guidelines are accurately established, salary adjustments are in compliance with Firm practices, and compensation data within the Workday HCM system is maintained. Creates and maintains compensation documents, including compilations of policy and language changes to incentive compensation programs, for Firm leadership review and approval. Plays a key role in due diligence, transaction, support, and post merger integration activities related to Total Rewards, including compensation and benefits alignment, risk assessment, and harmonisation strategies. Fully calculates all eligibility and payouts for annual discretionary incentive plans and the production of compensation statements. Administers the annual participation in salary and compensation practice surveys. Ensures accurate and complete survey submissions meet established vendor deadlines. Keeps apprised of compensation laws and regulations. Participates on committees, special projects, and seeks additional responsibilities. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required with at least five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in compensation administration. Significant global Total Rewards experience required, including deep expertise in compensation and working knowledge of benefits programs across EAP and/or EMEA regions. Demonstrated experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-merger integration from a Total Rewards perspective, strongly preferred. Ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed, global organisation. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Workday experience preferred.
