Role Overview

Interpath is seeking a highly motivated Manager for our Transaction Services team in London. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse portfolio of clients, including prominent private equity and corporate entities. As a Manager, you will have the unique chance to work closely with industry-leaders in a dynamic and entrepreneurial Deal Advisory practice.

Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of the transaction lifecycle, engaging in both buy-side and sell-side assignments. You will play a pivotal role in supporting & delivering successful transactions by collaborating with our corporate finance and debt advisory specialists within the Interpath network. In this capacity, you will also take on a mentorship role, guiding our analysts and associates while fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) reports.
  • Evaluate Quality of Earnings to pinpoint extraordinary income and costs that impact underlying earnings.
  • Analyse and benchmark Net Working Capital (NWC) based on historical trends.
  • Identify debt-like items through an in-depth review of balance sheets and off-balance-sheet arrangements.
  • Critically assess target forecasts, highlighting possible risks and opportunities.
  • Engage in client meetings and serve as the primary contact for day-to-day FDD execution.
  • Strengthen client relationships while mentoring associates within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Transaction Services or another relevant field.
  • Chartered Accountancy, or other similar professional qualification, preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and strong team orientation.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven record in managing relationships with clients.
  • Experience in business development strategy is advantageous but not mandatory.
