Managing Consultant – AI & Machine Learning
Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in Brixton) Base Salary: Up to £50,000 + uncapped no-threshold commission
We're seeking an ambitious Managing Consultant to launch and lead our AI & Machine Learning recruitment offering, shaping strategy, driving revenue growth, and positioning Mixture of Experts as a market-leading partner in AI talent acquisition.

For the right candidate, there’s clear room for progression into leadership, including the potential to build and manage a specialist team as the sector expands.
Key Responsibilities
As a Managing Consultant, you will:
- Own and scale our AI & Machine Learning recruitment practice
- Cultivate relationships with startups, scale-ups, and established enterprise clients
- Deliver high-value recruitment solutions across AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science roles
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding existing client partnerships
- Develop your personal brand through LinkedIn, industry events, and community engagement
- Become a trusted advisor within the AI market, recognised for your expertise

Success Criteria
A successful Managing Consultant will:
- Consistently surpass revenue targets
- Secure and nurture long-term client and candidate relationships
- Establish credibility as a market authority in AI recruitment
- Generate repeat business and grow strategic accounts
- Actively contribute to the expansion of Found By Few’s AI practice
- Fully embody and advocate our company values and methods of working

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- 4+ years’ experience in agency recruitment across high-growth tech sectors
- A proven history of client growth, achieving strong billing and business development results
- Relevant experience specialising in AI, Machine Learning, or Data recruitment (preferred)
- Exceptional client management and relationship-building skills
- A commercially acutely driven, high-energy, self-starter mindset
- Passion for brand-building and carving out a niche market
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and team leadership in the future
Bonus points if you:
- Have deep insight into the startup and scale-up ecosystem
- Understand the unique challenges of AI recruitment
