Managing Director
Senior Regional Executive – UK & International (Group COO/Head of Operations)
Job Overview
We are seeking a senior executive to lead the Group’s UK and relevant international business operations. The role will be responsible for:
- Regional strategy
- P&L performance
- Organisational development
- Governance
- Commercial growth
- Stakeholder engagement
- Operational excellence
- Long-term value creation
Working closely with Group headquarters and global teams, the successful candidate will develop a scalable, compliant, and commercially effective organisation while strengthening the Group’s market position and supporting future capital market readiness.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute medium- and long-term regional business strategies and annual operating plans, aligned with the Group’s global strategy, local market dynamics, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Take full P&L responsibility for UK and relevant international operations, driving:
- Sustainable revenue growth
- Profitability
- Performance across the Group’s multi-brand portfolio

Build, restructure, and scale a high-performing UK-based management team across key functions, including:
- HR, Legal
- Procurement
- Brand
- Public relations & marketing
- Field operations

Establish and improve:
- Corporate governance
- Reporting lines
- Performance management processes
- Incentive frameworks

Oversee business compliance, governance, and risk management across the region, ensuring adherence to:
- Legal
- Tax
- Employment and regulatory requirements
- Industry standards

Lead brand development, public relations, and integrated marketing communications, ensuring compliance and commercial effectiveness.

Monitor reputation management, handle issues, and manage crisis communications, collaborating with:
- Legal
- Compliance
- PR & senior leadership teams

Drive cross-border collaboration with:
- Group’s supply chain centre
- Global branches

Represent the Group at a senior level with key external stakeholders:
- Industry bodies
- Trade associations
- Public-sector stakeholders
- Regulators
- Channel partners
- Major commercial partners

Lead major commercial negotiations, strategic partnerships, and cross-regional business initiatives to support growth and operational synergy.

Prepare for pre-IPO readiness and listing preparation, including:
- Corporate governance enhancement
- Financial reporting readiness
- Internal control development
- Delivery of capital market milestones

Lead or support corporate M&A, including:
- Target assessment
- Due diligence coordination
- Transaction negotiation
- Integration planning and resource consolidation
Requirements & Core Competencies
The ideal candidate must demonstrate:
Leadership Experience
- Significant senior executive experience as a:
- CEO
- Managing Director
- General Manager
- Regional Director
- Senior Vice President, or equivalent
Operational & Commercial Expertise

Proven experience leading sizeable UK or international business operations with P&L responsibility

Strong background in:
- FMCG
- Consumer electronics
- Retail
- Regulated consumer products
- Fast-moving consumer sectors

Experience in:
- Subsidiary management
- Corporate governance
- Organisational development
- Commercial operations
- Channel ecosystem management
Strategic & Market Awareness
- Strong understanding of the UK business environment, workplace practices, and regulatory landscape

- Excellent written and spoken English for board, investor, regulator, media, and stakeholder interaction.
- Mandarin language skills desirable for internal communication.
- Professional relationships with industry, commercial, and media stakeholders are advantageous.
