Company Description

Small Steps Project is a humanitarian organisation and UK-registered charity that supports children and their families living and working on rubbish dumps around the world. The charity focuses on children who survive by scavenging, providing direct aid and raising global awareness of the hardships they face. Through documentary film and advocacy, Small Steps Project highlights these conditions and mobilises support for change. The organisation delivers shoes, hygiene kits, and emergency aid to protect children in dump environments. It then follows with sustainable, long-term solutions that help children take small steps off rubbish dumps and into education.

Role Description

The Managing Director is a part-time leadership role responsible for overseeing strategy, operations, and growth for Small Steps Project in the London Area, United Kingdom, within a hybrid working arrangement that combines in-person and remote work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
